This process allows you to easily apply the resync command to your Divi Desktop without using any command line at all. You will create a copy of the Divi Desktop shortcut and create another that will be edited to issue the -resync command fixing most sync problems. The resync removes all the data from your blocks folder and chainstate folders. Then downloads a new set and attempts to build all the data around matching your addresses and transaction history. This will help a stuck sync issue beyond a reindex in many cases – However, if this doesn’t work you may have another data set that has become corrupt somehow and then you may need to move on to Fix #3.

Syncing issues are almost ALWAYS related to database and network issues. What I mean is that the data was interrupted and became disordered or corrupted.
